Matt Gauvey brings a wealth of professional and personal experience to his role as a
Case Manager with Edgewood School District. A proud graduate of Wright State
University with a degree in Sociology, Matt has spent the last 25 years working in the
IT field, developing problem-solving skills, analytical thinking, and a deep
commitment to helping others succeed.
Beyond his professional career, Matt has dedicated his life to family and community.
As a parent to five children—three boys and two girls, with the youngest currently 16
years old—he understands the unique challenges and opportunities facing today’s
youth.
Passionate about education and giving back, Matt volunteers his time running a
charitable foundation that raises funds for higher education scholarships for young
adults who have lost a parent. This work reflects his dedication to ensuring all students
have the resources, encouragement, and opportunities they need to achieve their
goals.
In his personal time, Matt enjoys attending music concerts, cheering on his kids at
sporting events, and working on cars. With a strong blend of professional expertise,
personal life experience, and community service, Matt approaches each student
and family with empathy, understanding, and a genuine desire to make a positive
impact.
