Amie DeChellis is a Licensed Independent Social Worker and a graduate
from the University of Cincinnati where she obtained a Master’s Degree
in Social Work, specializing in mental health.
Amie’s practice in mental health began at Camelot Community Care,
where she provided in-home and community-based therapy. She has
continued to be dedicated to helping children and families for 13 years,
turning her focus to school-based therapy. She enjoys working as a
collaborative team with parents, teachers and administrators to promote
a healthy and positive experience for children in their educational
environment. Amie’s expertise and experience has allowed her to
develop and facilitate a day treatment program at a local Middle
School.
Amie provides therapy to children of all ages in both individual and
group settings. She utilizes evidenced based practices such as cognitive-
behavioral and play therapy. She enjoys strength-based approaches
and is knowledgeable in teaching coping and mindfulness skills.
Amie is married and has two children who live an active and
adventurous lifestyle. In her family’s free time, she enjoys music, camping,
traveling and watching her children play sports.
