Candace utilizes a collaborative approach and assists individuals and families to reach their goals, develop brain-wise coping skills, and enhance interpersonal relationships by strengthening connections and co-regulation.

She has worked in a variety of treatment settings: outpatient counseling, integrated behavioral health in primary care, school-based counseling, partial hospitalization day treatment for children and adolescents, and a residential group home for ages 8-14.

She is a Clinical Director and oversees the Internship program for Catalyst. She supervises MSW interns and Licensed Social Workers.  She has also co-founded Catalyst’s Play Therapy Cohorts by facilitating professional development, direct teaching, and supervision. Allowing other Catalyst Therapists the opportunity to gain knowledge and certification in play therapy.

She has served on the Ohio Association for Play Therapy for the last 13 years.  Her current professional goal is to complete her Expressive Arts Therapist-Trauma Informed [EXAT] certification.

Candace grew up in a Chicago suburb.
