Elisabeth Rowe, LPC

Elisabeth is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Ohio. She earned her Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Cincinnati (UC). She strives to provide identity-affirming and culturally sensitive care. Her counseling goal is to create a safe, warm, and nonjudgmental space where her clients feel seen and heard. She believes therapy is a place to be found, not "fixed." She provides therapy services to adolescents and adults.

Elisabeth's counseling journey began in residential addiction treatment facilities, where she provided individual and group services to adults of all ages. There, she had the privilege of supporting clients as they navigated some of life's most difficult moments. This allowed her to gain experience working with people who struggle with issues such as addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship conflict.

In session, Elisabeth wants to collaborate with you. She uses an ecological approach, looking at how different external and internal factors can influence thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. She practices with an integrative approach, drawing on person-centered therapy, dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), motivational interviewing (MI), and mindfulness-based cognitive therapy (MBCT).

Outside of the counseling room, she enjoys baking, crafting, and spending time with friends and family and her two cats.
