Mindy Wesselman, MSW, LISW, is a licensed independent social worker in the state of Ohio. She has worked extensively with foster families, supporting parenting skills development and providing individual therapy to foster youth, as well as outpatient services to children and adults. Mindy has also led social skills groups for children of all ages and supported individuals navigating a wide range of mental health challenges.
Mindy earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and her Master’s degree in Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.
Her approach to therapy is solution-focused, grounded in support, encouragement, and practical strategies. She helps clients reduce stress, challenge unhelpful thought patterns, and build resilience through mindfulness and healthy coping skills. Mindy is passionate about empowering children, adolescents, and adults to overcome life’s challenges, process difficult emotions, and move toward greater acceptance, healing, and personal growth.
Outside of her work, Mindy enjoys traveling, exploring new restaurants, and spending time playing sports and games with friends and family.
