Courtney is a Licensed Social Worker who earned her Master’s degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. She enjoys working with adults and providing couples counseling, helping clients navigate life’s challenges in a supportive and collaborative environment. Courtney has experience working with underserved populations and communities and is passionate about creating a therapeutic space where clients feel heard, respected, and supported.
Courtney utilizes a variety of therapeutic interventions tailored to each client’s individual needs, including Socratic questioning, cognitive reframing, and a strengths-based perspective. She has experience treating mood disorders, personality disorders, depression, and anxiety disorders. Courtney works collaboratively with clients to help them manage symptoms, build on their natural strengths, and recognize the resilience they already possess.
Courtney believes in meeting clients where they are and understands the importance of creating a safe, comfortable, and non-judgmental environment. She values validating each client’s emotions and experiences and believes that healing begins when individuals feel understood and accepted.
Outside of counseling, Courtney enjoys traveling with her husband and children, exploring new places, and experiencing new things together. She values personal growth, connection, and embracing life’s experiences both personally and professionally.
“Each aspect within us needs understanding and compassion. If we are unwilling to give it to ourselves, how can we expect the world to give it to us?” — Debbie Ford
