Whitney Serrecchia is a licensed professional counselor, LPC, in the state of Ohio. Whitney earned her master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling from Walden University, and her bachelors in Psychology from The University of Cincinnati. Whitney has experience working with adults in an outpatient setting, and 9 years of experience working with children, adolescents, and their families in day treatment settings. Whitney has had training in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Non-Violent Crisis Prevention and Intervention.
Whitney creates a safe and supportive environment for client’s by establishing trust, and validating the client’s experiences through providing a non-judgemental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. Whitney employs a variety of techniques and approaches to meet each client’s individual needs, while ensuring collaboration to further client growth and empowerment.
In her spare time, Whitney enjoys taking hikes with her dogs and husband, traveling, and attending FC Cincinnati matches.
