Eric North is an Independently Licensed Social Worker Supervisor with the State of Ohio. Eric earned his bachelor’s degree in social work from Wright State University and his master’s degree in social work from Wright State and Miami University through the Greater Miami Valley Joint MASW program where he graduated with honors.
Eric has experience working in pediatric medical social work (including specialty clinics, inpatient units, and crisis work), and private practice outpatient therapy. As a therapist, Eric’s primary focus has been working with individuals ranging in age from 10 through young adulthood. Eric has experience treating children, adolescents and young adults in areas such as anxiety, depression, grief, life transitions, social skills, trauma, and more.
Eric’s goal is to provide a calm, caring and practical presence while working together towards your goals. Eric takes a strengths-based trauma-informed approach while utilizing various evidence-based treatment modalities.
Eric has lived in the Dayton area his entire life. When Eric isn’t working, he enjoys spending time with family, watching sports, bowling, and traveling. Eric tries to visit a new beach every year.
