Jamyah Lanier is a Licensed Professional Counselor(LPC) in the state of Ohio who is working towards independent licensure (LPCC). Jamyah Lanier received her bachelors from Bowling Green State University and a Masters Degree in Mental Health Counseling from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology.
Jamyah has worked with individuals with different cultural backgrounds. Having this experience has broadened her training and helped her gain insight and experience working with a diverse client group. She is experienced in working with individuals, couples & families with depression, anxiety, trauma, spirituality and more. Myah utilizes Solution-Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral therapy and other approaches based on her clients needs . Jamyah has worked in private practice setting. She has worked with various populations, including adults, adolescents and children.
Myah became a part of this field to help others and to make a difference in people’s lives. It’s important that individuals are heard, seen and valued. Making a difference and changing the world one step at a time can be very impactful.
