Lauren Parker, MSW, LISW-S

Lauren Parker is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervisory designation through the state of Ohio. She is also Phase 1 and Phase 2 certified to complete and teach metrics based on the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT). NMT is an assessment and therapeutic lens that takes into consideration the influence of early childhood experience on brain development and subsequent behaviors. This model is used to better inform effective therapeutic interventions.

Lauren received her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Dayton and earned her Master's in Social Work at the University of Michigan. She got her start working as a case manager for the elderly and later foster care. She eventually expanded into therapy full-time. Lauren's main area of focus is children and adolescents, although she has a wide range of experience that includes family therapy, marriage counseling, and adults. Her treatment specialties include trauma, depression, anxiety, and disruptive behaviors.

When she isn't working, Lauren enjoys spending time outdoors gardening and taking walks. She also is an avid knitter, reader, baker, and has an expansive collection of tea.
