Emily Henson is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner that specializes in treating children, adolescents, and adults. She completed her graduate degree at Northern Kentucky University and has her bachelors in nursing from Ohio University. Before becoming a nurse practitioner Emily practiced as a registered nurse for 10 years in a local emergency department.
Emily treats patients with mental health disorders including depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, ADHD and substance abuse disorders. Her purpose as a nurse practitioner is to help others feel their best and provide individualized care to each patient she encounters. The patient should know they are not alone in this process and the goal is for the patient to feel like the best version of themselves. We will create personal goals and work together to achieve them.
In her free time, Emily enjoys being with her husband and two children, being outside, going to sporting events and spending time with family.
