Alyssa Hatton is an Independently Licensed Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio. She is passionate about working with youth and adolescents and strives to create a compassionate and collaborative environment for her clients. Alyssa utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques and interventions to help adolescents learn and grow into young adults. She utilizes a supportive and client-centered approach to meet youth where they are, and is committed to helping them find balance within their lives.
Alyssa graduated from Wright State University with a bachelor's degree in Psychology and from Bowling Green State University with a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. Alyssa has worked in a variety of mental health settings in the last 5 years including working as a substance use counselor for adults, a school-based therapist for grades K-12, and an outpatient therapist at a community mental health agency. She has had training in Trauma-Informed Care, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy.
When Alyssa is not in session, you can find her either in the bowling alley coaching an NCAA bowling team, playing board games with her friends, or spending time with her family and pets.
