Mindy Wesselman, MSW, LISW-S, is a Licensed Independent Social Worker with Supervision Designation in Ohio who is passionate about helping teens and adults create meaningful, lasting change. She began her career in foster care, where she partnered with foster families to strengthen parenting skills while providing therapy and support to children and adolescents who had experienced trauma, loss, and significant life transitions. She has also provided outpatient therapy to children, adolescents, and adults and facilitated social skills groups for youth of all ages.
Mindy earned her Bachelor of Social Work from the University of Cincinnati and her Master of Social Work from Case Western Reserve University.
Her approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. She believes therapy should leave clients feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools they can use in everyday life. She helps clients gain insight into patterns that may be keeping them stuck, strengthen emotional resilience, improve relationships, and build the confidence to navigate life's challenges with greater clarity and intention.
Mindy is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where clients feel comfortable exploring life's challenges, discovering their strengths, and creating meaningful, lasting change.
Outside of her work, Mindy enjoys traveling, discovering new restaurants, and spending time with family and friends playing sports, board games, and other activities.
