Ava Naumoff is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio. In her previous clinical work, Ava supported individuals and couples across the lifespan. She collaborated with teens and adults managing depression, OCD, ADHD, and Autism, and provided specialized support for neurodivergent adults who were often overlooked or late-diagnosed due to high-masking traits.
As a school-based counselor, Ava strives to collaborate with students on their personal goals in a warm and non-judgmental environment. She understands what challenges with stress, social anxiety, and interpersonal concerns can make it difficult for students to engage fully in their daily lives. Her goal as a counselor is to collaborate with students and their support systems to navigate these challenges and to foster overall wellness. Ava’s approach to therapy is person-centered and grounded in Mindfulness- Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT), which guides individuals in cultivating present-moment awareness. This practice allows individuals to explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors in a safe and judgment-free space. Her holistic approach, which connects mental and physical well-being, allows her to tailor therapy to the specific needs of each individual. Ava holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Xavier University and a Bachelor’s in Psychology from Miami University. When she is not in session, Ava can be found listening to live music, trying new foods, and spending time outside with her dog, Reese.
