Ashley Hensley is a licensed social worker in the state of Ohio. She obtained her bachelor’s degree in psychological sciences, her minor degree in art therapy, and her master’s degree in social work from Miami University. She has experience in working with children and adolescents through her volunteer activities and time as a childcare worker. She completed her internship by providing therapy to adults in a one-on-one and group settings who struggled with mental health and substance use disorders. Ashley has experience in using strength-based approaches, cognitive behavioral therapy, and dialectical behavioral therapy. She believes that through positivity and determination anyone has the capacity to change their lives for the better. Ashley believes in using a wholistic approach that looks at the big picture when working with clients.
Outside of her role as a therapist, Ashley enjoys volunteering at her local church and animal shelter. She also enjoys participating in local performing and fine arts. She loves to spend time with friends, family, and her cat Luca.
