Kerri Wilson

Kerri Wilson is an experienced educational leader with more than 20 years of service in K–12 education. Throughout her career, she has served in a variety of roles—including general education teacher, special education teacher, behavior specialist, Special Education Director, Assistant Principal, and MTSS Coordinator—giving her a well-rounded perspective on both classroom instruction and district-level leadership.

She earned her doctoral degree in education from the University of North Carolina Wilmington and remains deeply committed to improving outcomes for all students. In her work, Kerri focuses on building strong systems of support that promote students’ overall well-being—academically, behaviorally, and social-emotionally. She is especially passionate about creating environments where students feel supported, connected, and able to thrive, and she collaborates with educators and school teams to strengthen those supports across the school setting.

In her personal time, Kerri enjoys spending time with her husband and relaxing by putting together puzzles, which she finds to be a calming and enjoyable way to unwind.
