Mara Reichard is an Independently Licensed Social Worker (LISW). She
earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work at Wright
State University. Mara has previous experience working with youth in
home based services, foster care, community mental health, outpatient
services, case management services, and school based services.
Mara enjoys working with adolescents (14-18 years old) and young adults
learning to transition into adulthood (18-22 years old). Mara’s approach
to therapy is to provide a safe and positive environment, along with
assisting in building confidence and skills to grow personally, and
academically. In her therapeutic approach, she utilizes solution
focused and strength based techniques, mindfulness, Cognitive
Behavioral therapy, and more. Mara has experience treating youth in
areas such as anxiety, depression, ADHD, Autism, social skills, stress
management, transitions into adulthood, grief, etc. As a school based
therapist, Mara is looking forward to collaborating with students,
teachers, and families to help make lasting change.
In her free time, Mara enjoys reading, spending time with family and
friends, going on long walks, cooking, and playing with her two dogs,
Olive and Ricky. Mara enjoys learning new things and is excited to meet
you!
