Lindsay Back, MS, LPCC-S, RPT-S

Lindsay A. Back is a Licensed Independent Clinical Counselor Supervisor in the state of Ohio and is the co-owner/founder of Catalyst Counseling, LLC. She is also certified as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. Lindsay graduated from Wright State University with a masters degree in mental health counseling.

She has 18 years experience in the field working with clients of all ages focusing on children and adolescents in emergency and inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient settings, and schools. Lindsay has specialized training in the Seven Challenges® Program, an evidenced based drug and alcohol treatment program, and supervised an adolescent addiction program using this model.

She has extensive experience working with clients that have mood disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as with those who have experienced trauma and grief.

Lindsay has completed NMT Training Certification through the Phase 1 Level. The Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT) is a developmentally sensitive, neurobiology-informed approach to clinical problem solving that integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology to inform work with clients of all ages. Over the last 4 years, she has developed a passion and love for growing Catalyst, supervising the team, empowering leaders, and fighting to remove barriers to treatment for local families.

Outside of Catalyst, Lindsay enjoys playing co-ed softball, running, and spending time with her kids, friends, and family.
