Kelsey Wargo is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in the state of Ohio along with a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional through the International Association of Trauma Professionals. Kelsey has experience working with both youth and adults. She utilizes a wide variety of therapy techniques focusing in CBT, DBT, motivational interviewing, grief and loss and play therapy techniques because she believes not one method fits everyone. Through a variety of modalities Kelsey is able to help both youth and adults learn more about the depth of their emotions and along with skills to manage a wide range of stressors and needs.
Kelsey is originally from Pulaski, Wisconsin she earned her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Xavier University and her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Carroll University in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Kelsey has been involved in mental health since early childhood when her brother was diagnosed with Autism, leading to her to become an ABA line therapist while at Carroll University for children diagnosed with Autism. Kelsey has worked in both community, school, and office based settings throughout the course of her career in both outpatient and day treatment programs in mental health. Having exposure to a variety of mental health professionals since an early age, Kesey has a passion for counseling in the school setting to help ensure each child and family has a chance to be successful in whatever they choose to do.
Besides counseling Kelsey also enjoys playing with her four dogs and spending time with her husband with new projects around their home.
