Chandra Mathews-Smith brings a wealth of experience, knowledge and skill to her clients, families, and community at Hamilton High School. As a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor, Chandra provides individual, family, and group therapy and supervises new clinicians.
Previously, Chandra enjoyed a twenty year tenure at Beech Acres Parenting Center (BAPC) in Cincinnati, Ohio. During her employment at BAPC, Mrs. Mathews-Smith served in several clinical and executive level positions. She is a former Adjunct Professor at Grand Valley State University in Allendale, Michigan. Mrs. Mathews-Smith has provided individual training workshops and participated on many panels addressing parenting, mental health, foster care and child welfare issues and opportunities.
Chandra, in addition to to her role as a counselor, is currently the President of the Board of Trustees for the Community Action Agency in Cincinnati. She has been an active member of the Cincinnati community for years, volunteering her time in a variety of agencies.
Chandra and her husband, T. Bernard Smith, are owners of Que Dee Productions, a mobile disc jockey and concert promotions company. Chandra is also Co-Owner of C&C Premier Cleaning Services, Incorporated - a commercial cleaning service where 30% of the company’s employee base is comprised of individuals in need of a second chance employment opportunity. She has four daughters and resides in Anderson Township, Ohio.
