Lindsay Back, MS, LPCC-S, RPT-S
Co-Owner | Founder
Lindsay A. Back is a Licensed Independent Clinical Counselor Supervisor in the state of Ohio and is the co-owner/founder of Catalyst Counseling, LLC. She is also certified as a Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. Lindsay graduated from Wright State University with a masters degree in mental health counseling.
She has 18 years experience in the field working with clients of all ages focusing on children and adolescents in emergency and inpatient psychiatric units, outpatient settings, and schools. Lindsay has specialized training in the Seven Challenges® Program, an evidenced based drug and alcohol treatment program, and supervised an adolescent addiction program using this model.
She has extensive experience working with clients that have mood disorders, anxiety disorders, as well as with those who have experienced trauma and grief.
Currently, Lindsay is training in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT), a developmentally sensitive, neurobiology-informed approach to clinical problem solving that integrates core principles of neurodevelopment and traumatology to inform work with clients of all ages. Over the last 4 years, she has developed a passion and love for growing Catalyst, supervising the team, empowering leaders, and fighting to remove barriers to treatment for local families.
Outside of Catalyst, Lindsay enjoys playing co-ed softball, running, and spending time with her kids, friends, and family.
Christy HUghes, MSW, LISW-S

Christian L. Hughes is a Licensed Independent Social Worker Supervisor in the state of Ohio and is the co-owner/founder of Catalyst Counseling, LLC. She graduated with a masters degree in social work from Ohio University and has over 15 years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults in various clinical, medical, psychiatric, emergency, correctional, and school-based settings.
She has experience supervising masters level clinical social work interns as well as supervising school based programs. Christy has specialized training in the use of play therapy. She also has specialized training in the Seven Challenges® Program, an evidenced based adolescent drug and alcohol treatment program. She has extensive experience working with clients who have mood disorders, anxiety disorders, attachment issues, and those who have experienced trauma, specifically sexual abuse.
