Mariella F. Richardson is a Licensed Independent Social Worker - Supervisor in the State of Ohio. Mariella graduated with her bachelor’s degree in communications with an emphasis in journalism from Central State University in Xenia, Ohio. She continued her education at the University of Cincinnati, graduating with a master’s in social work, studying severe mental illness.
With over 20 years of experience in the mental health field, Mariella has had the opportunity to serve countless individuals in many different capacities. She has worked in Cincinnati Public schools, Hamilton Job and Family services, inpatient and medical social work at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, and provided therapy for families, young adults, and teenagers. Mariella’s talent lies in helping teens and their families, especially in times of crisis. She takes great pride in being able to assist families as they work their way through tough times and challenges within their lives.
Besides counseling, Mariella loves animals, reading, travel, and recharging at the beach.
