Kristin Dolph is a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of Ohio who works with children and their families. She considers herself a humanistic counselor who enjoys using an eclectic style of mindfulness, REBT and play therapy incorporated with psychoeducation when working with clients. Through these styles, Kristin teaches her clients foundational skills and then helps them to become aware and accepting of their natural thoughts and feelings by meeting their clients at where they are at.
A Piqua native, Kristin earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology and her master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wright State University. Kristin has experience in working with children and their families from her years of work in several inpatient psychiatric units, Intensive Outpatient groups as well as her work in her own private practice that she owns and operates. Kristin also has gained experience in her other work as a behavioral health crisis evaluator.
With her hometown and school being in a small town, Kristin has a passion for counseling in a school-based setting so to once again experience the community warmth of a school and all that it entails. Kristin enjoys educating those on mental health and bringing awareness to mental health in the community.
Besides counseling, Kristin enjoys spending time with her house rabbit, taking her dogs on walks and spending time with her husband, family and friends.
