Jenn Walter is an Independently Licensed Social Worker Supervisor with the State of Ohio. She has worked with children and their families in some fashion since 1999, when she started at St. Joseph Children’s Treatment Center helping some of the most troubled children in Ohio, Indiana and Illinois. Her chosen techniques often include: play therapy, trauma focused family therapy, and crisis Intervention therapies.
Jenn is a Toledo, Ohio Native who joined the Air Force after High School. She continues that commitment to the armed forces by also working with Veterans and military dependents with PTSD to assist them in returning to normal functioning and productive lives. Jenn received her undergraduate degree from Capital University in Columbus and her graduate degree in Social Work from the University of Cincinnati.
Jenn has always had a passion for helping others, children especially. This passion is why she loves her profession and loves the opportunity to be a school-based therapist. She enjoys being part of a school team with the teachers and administration to help children and their families find success.
