Dr. Chelsea N. Bennett is a Licensed Independent Social Worker in the state of Ohio who works with children and their families. She specializes in a type of therapy called Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. Dr. Bennett is a follower of Howard Gardner’s Multiple Intelligence Theory (MIT). Through MIT, Dr. Bennett helps children address and resolve their own problems in a way that comes naturally to them.
A Northern Cincinnati native, Dr. Bennett earned her Doctoral degree in Educational Leadership at Union Institute and University and her Master’s degrees in Social Administration and Organizational Management from Case Western Reserve University and Ashford University. Dr. Bennett earned her bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Miami University.
Dr. Bennett has been working with children for over 15 years in a variety of settings including tutoring and teaching kindergarten and third grade students, residential mental health settings, children services, foster care, and counseling children and their families in private practice.With her background in education and social work, Dr. Bennett has a passion for counseling in a school based setting so that she can support not only children and their families, but also teachers and staff.
Besides counseling, Dr. Bennett loves to cook and go for hikes with her family.
