Michael is a licensed social worker in Ohio and has been practicing social work since 2012. He earned his master’s in social work from the University of Cincinnati. Since then, he has worked in various capacities of social work including therapeutic foster care, children's services, and outpatient medical settings. As a therapist, Michael has experience working with children and adults who are experiencing grief and loss, depression, anxiety, end of life, and relationship concerns.
Michael became a social worker and therapist to help children and families heal from their experiences and find strengths within themselves. He uses a variety of clinically proven techniques and interventions to assist individuals on their journey toward healing. Additionally, his focus is to create a safe and judgment free environment for individuals to process their thoughts and emotions. It is Michael’s belief that while it takes a village to raise a child, it also takes a village to find healing and overcome adversities. That is why he focuses on the relationships and networks individuals have because they are the experts of their own lives and experiences. Michael looks forward to serving his community in a school-based setting and working toward a healthier tomorrow.
